Hot off the ’09 launch season, the show that makes you laugh and cringe is back with a 2010 bang! This time the family is complete with Xolisa Radebe finally joining the show as the Jwarha to the current Jwarha. Out of excitement, we grabbed him fresh from his 8-hour flight (jet-lagged and all) from Accra and did the show. It was impromptu, raw and off the cuff! And you know we still got our fresh cut beats production team Clekzo and Mo’Funk on production and music.
Here’s to a no-holds barred 2010!
Ladies and Gentlemen: The Third Episode of Live with Jwarha & Jwarha!
With much pushing, much gusto and hours in music search and in content refinement; we give you our last show of ’09! It goes without saying that you guys helped the show enjoy its growing success in a very short space of time. So please, keep tuning in. The more listeners, the better we become, the better the show.
In 2010 we’re taking it up a notch, instead of one show every six weeks, we will deliver two great shows in that period. The content will be sharper and much closer to time so to relate more to current events than has been in the past. We will introduce interviews with people you want to hear, artists, DJ’s, actors etc…imagine Julius Unplugged, Unrehearsed. Iyho!
We are also moving house, our next show will be podcast from a much more professional URL portal, packed with contacts, pics and videos of the show, and some behind the scenes as we record and put it together.
But that’s enough about next year, here’s to wrapping up a rather bitter-sweet year! Pop the Champagne and Celebrate Life!

Zwagger Land is back with the second installment of Live with Jwarha & Jwarha. Dubbed the Second Episode – it takes you on a crazy journey that will shock you, leave you in awe and be music to your ears. Thanx for the love on the first one. And of course my production team Clekzo and DJ Mo Funk hooked up the music and the full production of the show. We’re still waiting for the other Jwarha though. Zwagger Enterprises: Image Is Everything
Welcome to Zwagger Land. Zwagger is a name I gave to myself after a physical, mental and spiritual makeover. At the center of it all was a very powerful concept – personal image. Image is everything in anything. Brands are built or destroyed on it. Governments are strengthened or weakened by it. And people are judged, loved, praised, reviled and some fortunate few become revered icons based on their public image.
With this in mind I started the image consultancy firm Zwagger Enterprises. This firm specializes in personal brand (be it a person or brand) image design and safeguarding. So far, we have secured a fashion label and a few project-based endeavours that we hope o take even further in terms of creating and strengthening their image. Because I’m a writer by trade, I do get tempted to write articles for magazines and radio commercials for small, up and coming brands.
The business has another division to it that is very close to my heart. A podcast Radio show we call ‘Live with Jwarha & Jwarha’. Hosted by Xolisa Radebe and myself it aims to be a no holds barred escape from reality. We joke about things we shouldn’t, religion, amasiko, politicians, Jehovah’s Witness, songs ze kwaito, no one is safe from our eyes and lips of scrutiny. The angle is satirical and not preachy. e.g, chicks say they want big dick until ubhutiza efika ayiqhaphuze and they scream ‘hoekom het jy my koek geteer’
I have already posted the first show; it is our first attempt so be nice. I have myself only on the mic as Xolisa was still in Ghana when we recorded the first show. We’re lucky enough on our show to have a diverse production team made up of Clekzo who does most of the mixing and music of the show and DJ Mo Funk who doubles as a techie as well in making sure the blog is top notch.
I will be posting material every second Monday to give your fortnightly dosage of Live with Jwarha & Jwarha.
